I’ve lived along the Emerald Coast of NW FL since 1989. Locals say that “once the sand gets in your toes you’ll never want to leave”. I hold a Marketing and Business Administration degree from the University of West Florida. I have worked in advertising sales, marketing and promotions in Panama City since 1992. I received my Florida Realtor’s license in July 2009. Since that time I have earned several designations, the National Association of Realtors certification of Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource, GRI (Graduate of Realtors Association) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation. I’ve been a member of Bay County WCR (Women’s Council of Realtors) since 2011 and was the 2014 WCR Chair. I specialize in first time home buyers, and investment property. I have been involved in various community events and fundraisers including Death by Chocolate, Kids Fest, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Home & Garden Expo, March of Dimes & The American Red Cross Annual Walk a Thon, St Jude Children’s Hospital & Muscular Dystrophy. I love to garden, listen to music and play with my pet cockatiel and Macaw. And above all I love my family!

Catrina is very knowledgeable of the local market and did a great job of advising me on a listing price and marketing the home beautifully on MLS. This is most apparent in that we had an offer on the home within 3 days of the MLS listing.

Catrina helped me and my family find a great home. She did let us know when she felt a home was overpriced and more than once gave us invaluable advice that saved us some real headache – anyone can show a house to you, Catrina shows you the home, the pluses the minuses and in the end SHE found the home we wanted ! and we were searching the internet like crazy – she is the real deal and we loved our experience.

Buying a new family home from a distance is a daunting task, and Catrina helped me embark on this journey in a very pleasant, fact- filled, and efficient two days. We started with just an email correspondance about my family’s needs and desires, and worked up a list of homes to see. Her thoughtful planning helped us fit in many properties, and right away I could see I had made an excellent choice. Not only did she show me specific properties, she educated me on the process, and the layout of communities in my area of interest and recommendations for places to visit and dine where I would feel comfortable. We are not ready to make any final decisions, but I will be sure to be calling her for my next trip down there, when we are ready to commit.

As a newcomer, I had not been impressed by the agents in the Panama City area. I made offers on two other properties with other agents, but never felt that they would help me pick a fair price, point out undesirable features (so I could judge their importance) or present my negotiating points in compelling fashion. Ms. Raevens was a delightful exception, and helped me and my wife identify good neighborhoods, houses with desirable features, and pricing that reflected current market conditions. We quickly found the right house, looked at a number of alternatives, then made an offer on a short-sale. When the short-sale took longer than the listing broker anticipated, we looked at additional properties. In the end, we waited until Bank of America accepted our short-sale offer. There were some issues with the short-sale condition and inclusions, which Ms. Raevens negotiated to our advantage. We then closed and moved in.

Extremely dilligent and professional. She persisted with both sides until a deal was done. She even went out of her way to contact attorneys, courts and non-parties to facilitate the deal closing. I wouldn’t use any other agent in the area but Catrina.
